does anyone know where I can get the 3 cherry dots on the back of a SC Monterey putter?
They are actually red and plastic, I noticed the other day that 1 was missing and when I check the remaining 2 they were lose.

It should be solid paint mate not plastic. Hence why the all the paint is paint fill. Kari Lojosi does this ive been told. Website is lajosiputters.com.au

I had a fastback no.1 original. I stripped the paint back on it with the intention of painting it but never got around to it. Wasnt plastic. Was paint. With solvent it comes straight out. But all good. Check out Kari as he is the only one I know who does restorations. :-)

One of them has fallen out of my SC Monterey as well. Can confirm that they definitely look like some sort of insert rather than paint. If you track down somewhere to get them I'd be interested as well.

I'm confident it's legit, brought from pro shop has serial number ingraved on shaft, if it was fake why would it have serial number and why would they not paint the inserted part and fill it why plastic caps?

Anyway here is photos

There are cases of this happening on the titleist web page with it being fixed under warranty. It is paint that may not have adhered properly.

Note having a serial etc is no guarantee.

If you want to fix it yourself you can use Tamiya model paint in translucent red

Im not saying its not legit mate, was just telling you what i know to be fact through my expriences. Also as Jrg said Serial numbers dont make it geniune. S/N are on every club sold even the fakes. How else do they pass as geniune?.

Thanks for tha link Jrg1166

All good longhitter I know where your coming from mate. By the sounds of things it is paint but didn't look like it and plus the way it looks you could mistake it for being a plastic cap.

Might fill it with different colours myself , see what happens

I have a Monterey and a Sonoma which have the same cherry bombs but they are still there.

I believe that what they do is to put a base whiter fill in on the dots to make them shiny, perhaps a thin layer of silicon or glue. Later on they are covered with translucent paint.

For the paint, Tamiya clear red is great. This is sold on hobby stores.
