At $55 a round, ya gaggin. That's cheaper than settlers

Got to remember the geographical criteria too.

And they give us nothing.

With Settlers, as well as all of the others, we get vouchers that we use for prizes. Unless you want to pay an extra $10 per game in prizemoney to get the same stuff we give out now.

Settlers facilities were great.  Those of us who are at the end of the field actually could get a seat and a drink in the clubhouse.  As distinct from the shithole at Sandhurst after a bad 5 hour round.

We all have good and bad experiences at every club.  Henley tore me a new one and I can't wait to go back and play it again.  I got lost on the way there and arrived at the tee right on tee off but once again the facilities were really good as well as the course.

Easy fix for me is don't go back to Sandhurst.  Same for others, life is too short to play a course without any chance of enjoyment.

What's happening with Heritage? They pulling out of social groups?

Cranbourne is nice but I think their time sheets wild be too packed to consider a social group

The discussion about courses is something the committee are continuously looking at.

few things to keep in mind

we are a BIG group, and so basically block out a fair part of time sheet and hence reduces the number of courses we can gain access.

We want to maintain our NSEW games policy.

The consensus from the group is to play morning games. That being case many members only clubs cannot get us on in morning.

We are fortunate to be associated with Clublink who get us onto the courses we do.

This year we have changed the order of courses so get ot experience them under different conditions..

The other factor as Goldy correctly pointed out is what assistance we recieve in terms of prize deals .
