It's still in mapping stages. I'm a dirty driller mate.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Finally getting around to joining Burleigh. Going to the inauguration/info meeting Thursday. hopefully we can play a bit there together next year. I think we are at a similar standard of play.
What can possibly go wrong?

2nd nine, started with a pull hook and that was the stock shot for the nine. If I didn't pull hook it was a booming slice. 3 x 1 pointers and 2 wipes. Really disappointing 12 points. But to be fair I'm lucky I got that. 34 for the day and I think it's time to see pete again next time I'm home. Swing was all over the shop. Putting was ok, only 1 three putt. Really only hit 1 - 3 shots that I was happy with. So frustrating as I usually start crap and come home strong.

4th game I've played at Burleigh and I've only hit 2 greens in reg on the par 3's so far. That's 2 out 15. Strike rate not so good. I seem to be pulling all my iron shots. Think it's coming from the ott shoulders.
Have a few things to work on over the Xmas break.

I think the love affair with my 3 wood is over. I just can't swing it properly. For some reason my top half rotates before my hips so my swing path is so far outside-in, it's heading 45* to the left. Not sure what I can do to rectify it. I knew what I was doing and I still couldn't fix it. This is my go to club as my driver is so hit and miss. I really need to see peter again but can't get to him until the new year.
On the plus, my 4i was deadly, pin high on the 6th, a nice tee shot on the 12th and a good approach on the 13th. My short game was ok and my putting was good when I actually putted with confidence and trusted the line. A few misses due to looking up or deceleration but generally happy with the flat stick.
Front 9= 16 points
Back 9 = 18 points
Happy to post a semi reasonable score considering I felt like I played like ****.
Nice to get around with the burglar and am looking forward to meeting a few more lads and playing carbrook on Monday.
