Massive difference between Sat and today.

Sat was really wet and boggy, it has dried out considerably., still damp in a lot of areas though.

They have preferred lies through the green so keep that on mind for your round.

Spend some time on the practise green, the pace is quite slow, it will do your head in if you haven't grasped it before you head out.

Would love to hear your opinion after your round.

had a great round today at this course. new driver worked a treat and course was great.

fairways have dried out a lot but there are still some areas that are a bit boggy where there has been a lot of traffic from cart over the prior week.

bunkers were fantastic.  well layed out in strategic spots , the right amount of sand and nice clean sand ( no rocks/pebbles)

holes require a good think about where you want to place your drives.  a few holes with blind drives which made the first time playing this course a real challenge.

rough was very penal, if you go in it even though it looks not that long, good luck finding the ball, spent a few times looking for partners ball not to be found.

greens are quite generous but layed out that you need to think about there to hit the ball.   few holes have two tiers.  As you stated, they were very slow due to being so new, which cost me on a few holes.  but can see them being great in a few months time when spring arrives.

definitely would play different off the back tees as well. white tees 5649, blue tees 6282, as it would if the wind was blowing.

loved the course. looking to join this I think. anyone else a member there?

currently play  Waterford valley which is longer than this and hard due to water ect, but I felt this was a bit tighter on fairways and had to think a bit more about where to hit, but perhaps that is due to first round here, but I think this may be a little harder due to the type of holes even tho the slope rating doesn't indicate this.

Bucks having been a past member out at Waterford and now a member at Gardiners I think in terms of a financial point of view it's a no brainer - Gardiners wins hands down.

I also think Gardiners offers greater facilities over Waterford, not to mention you can play comp pretty much anytime and play socially as much as you want when you want (This is where Waterford lacks)

In terms of course length and layout of each track off the back pegs, although Waterford is longer I personally have found Gardiners much harder to play to handicap. Given how new the Gardiners Run course is I think it will only get tougher, especially once the greens mature and start to run fast & true then it's game on.

Anyhow Bucks I think even in the short term you'd have nothing to loose by joining Gardiners for the $$$, in fact you'd probably end up saving some coin to spend on new shinny equipment.

I agree scratch
In terms if facilities it wins hands down
I can see it playing much harder when greens are running as well
Definitely a bit tighter track than Waterford
Decisions decisions
Will have to get out for a round with u sometime
