Just thought I'd leave this here.

You leave home for a few days, and people get curious as to what the fuss and noise was all about.

Probably found it lodged under the putting mat.

I used to chase the married ones. Easiest target as their husbands were always off playing golf and/or drinking with the boys.

Eeewwwww, imagine mouldy trying to cut one off the herd ffs :(

He did use the past tense. May have been many years ago.
Still, the urge continues on for many men.

My name is Mouldy and I'm a shankaholic. It's been 0 holes since my last shank.

Thought I'd better get back into shape on the range. Hardly hit a short iron OS as shots of 110-140 yards were rare.

Pw and 9i are right on the money but 8i is starting right and/or fading right. NFI why and 7i is the same.

I'll see how I go on Wednesday before arranging a visit to SC for a tune up.

Driver and hybrids are spot on with 4h (5i) and 5h (6i) flying high and landing soft.

Off to Keysie for chipping and putting practice tomorrow if the weather is kind.

The refurb of the Mouldy Mansion is progressing well with all bar the floor sanding and polishing to be finished this week. Will be mid September by the time all the furniture etc is in situ. Then a couple of months to smarten up the outside.

By Cup day it will be a trendy pad.

The wine storage is stunning. Just need to buy another 12 doz more than I drink to fill it up. Might duck up to the King Valley later in the week to explore and buy.

What a beautiful day in Melbourne. Sharing the house with the painter or going to Keysie for practice was a no brainer.

Practicing my 15-20m up n downs. Couldn't do better than 6/10. Just have to keep working on it. The poor chips were nearly all right by a metre. Maybe I'm too close to the ball or taking the club inside or something. Have to get a mate to video the good and bad.

Then went onto putting drills. Could only get 6/8 from a metre circle which is pathetic.

Finally went to keeping the left hand dormant. Being left-handed I want to use it all the time but it just doesn't work putting right handed. So I putted with the right hand and the left just keeping the putter head stable. No coach has ever told me to do this but many experts talk about putting with the one hand.

Tomorrow is another day of searching for the magic putting pill. I've lost count of the number of coaches and very good putters who have tried to fix my putting to no avail.

Inconsistent contact leading to too short or long putts is my reason for 3 putting. I feel just putting with the right hand gave me better contact.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring other than a sub 90 ofs.
