Just finishing the course of antibiotics because you should but back to full health.

In fact I've never been fitter.

In theory my time exercising at high altitude should have resulted in peak performance during the first week of the Indonesian Tour. Instead I got 3 NAGAs. A dose of Bandung dung and the heavy cold didn't help.

Anyway I do feel so much fitter now and 3 kg lighter. The main advantage being able to maintain my concentration for longer and to take more care over every shot.

A bit of putter work in the garage has straightened that out and a good flag tomorrow is expected.

Bolivia and East Africa training for next year about to be booked. Quite a lot of trekking involved so a gym is about to get a new member on their steps machine.

You're 3kg lighter because you've been dehydrated and ill

You're actually weaker than new born right now, and always have the concentration span of an autistic goldfish

The only thing you can expect from tomorrow's round is a battle to avoid raising the bat

All encouragement duly noted. A reply will be forthcoming at approximately 15:30 tomorrow. A slightly late start to lunch, train trip and an extra bottle of wine will delay my repartee.

How could I be dehydrated ? Despite illness I personally led the charge that left 2 golf courses, 2 hotels and 3 restaurants without any beer.

What a man.

i was merely keeping up my hydration levels. 3 or 4 bottles of water during the round merely washed down the pollution. As you well know I'm fastidious about pre and post round hydration and nutrition.

In fact I blame the lack of quarter pounders and lattes for my poor results.

Some unflattering photos on FB showed some fluid retention which returned to normal when back in freezing climes.

Today I am a well oiled machine ready to perform at my very best tomorrow.

A steps machine?
Have you thought of adding an escalator at home, the only machine one might need for steps? You could just a static step.

Having a modest single storey home I can't imagine where an escalator would go.

Don't have a step. When you're building/renovating for the empty nesters market you don't have steps.
