Tough day at the office tomorrow.  Not sure if the Galah days are posted to GolfLink or not.  I sincerely hope so as the wet and windy conditions plus a host of visiting choppers ensures a custard DSR.

Got to get back on the horse after a shocker yesterday.  Mind just wasn't on the job plus I got angry with myself for some dumb play.  Rancid OTT drives just get me sooo pissed off.  At least to irons were spot on, a couple of Sandys and putted very well at the finish.

Shooting for 86 again which would give me 38 points and a probable podium finish.  The Galah day pins are usually very friendly and the white tees in the LGBTIQ positions.  Maybe I'll shoot for 40.

Went to a free health evaluation organised by Medibank today.  They are looking at prevention programs for their customers so as to reduce and/or defer claims.  Not altruistic but a smart policy.  Took in all my history, medications etc etc.  Seems I'm too healthy and too informed for their program and got the flick.

Nice to know I'm a too healthy 67yo.  Will put a spring in the step tomorrow.

As there are 40kph winds and rain forecast I'll be utilising Bump's knockdowns frequently during the day.  With only Sunday's round to come I'll be out to enjoy the day.

4 weeks with no golf and little grog will be a test of my resolve.

How about a $5 bet to be placed on NSW and Ireland winning 3-0 ?

No twigs on the fairway

Might layup with 7i on 13 to just find the fairway for a change. Such a tight hole with trees left and water right. Should be rates 14 for A Graders and 3 for chopper grade.

Lol
That fairway is at least 80m wide
The tree in the middle of it represents a fraction of the area, especially when you're incapable of reaching it on the fly.
All that's in your way is about 4ft of trunk.

The trees left of the fairway are only found by the most hideous of drives.
Much like the one you must have hit on Saturday.
The water on the right is found only by the weakest of cuts.
Why this hole worries you off the tee is beyond me.

I'm mentally fragile, especially off the big boy tees. An atrophied left knacker has me at a disadvantage.

Something like 54-38=92 including 4 or 5 X 3 jabs, a Hitler, a shanked short pitch, a thinned pitch, 2 chunked pitches, several chunked chips, drive into the same place as Saturday on 13 and another that hit the road around the lake on 17. Honestly Mouldman, how do you hit the road left that goes around the lake on the 17th ?
It's starts next to the tee at the same level and at the furthest point turns 90 degrees and must be 40 left and only 150 to 170 carry !
That would constitute the worst tee short " ever hit " at the KGC on the 17th hole.

Oh, hang on a minute, now I'm getting a really good insight on how you can get the ball from the tee to the Island on the 3rd !
Oh my lord, how bad are those shots, considering that you actually get to place the ball on a tee peg and have a free swing at it.
Now I see why the continuous ribbing from Carson, bahahahahaha ( tears now )
Jon...

ps Don't worry about your putting anymore mate, it's pure versus your tee shots on 3 and 17 :)

Had to look this up on golfshot.
Hmmm.

Serious question. How do you have a 13 handicap yet hit shots like that and three putt a few times? I just don’t get it.

This was a serious question.
I hit the odd crap tee shot. Not too often. I’ll 3 putt a bit. And I’m off 10 more than you. So how do you get around hitting tee shots like that and regularly 3 putting on a handicap of 13? I want to know why I can’t do that.
