I know many of you have been checking this thread daily waiting for updates. It's worth mentioning at this point that there is nothing to mention. The previous post is still the last post. Hope you are all well and happy end of financial year to some of you. Happy June 30 to all of you, and Merry Christmas to none of you.

Wouldn't this now be the last post, like next Friday is this Friday since it is now Friday?

No, this Friday is today.  Next Friday won't be this Friday until tomorrow.

It occurs to me with hindsight that I played golf recently and did not diligently log it’s existence in this forum which apparently means it did not happen.

But now that I am choosing to log it, I think it means it now did happen, which in and of itself is quite an unusual fact.

The critical point amongst all of this is I played at Pacific Golf Course and thoroughly enjoyed it. I will be quite open, for some reason I have actively avoided this course having played once a thousand years ago. Or perhaps I didn’t play because of some archaic rule about socks or shorts or spikes. I don’t remember or care to.

The undulations and course design around a city suburban course is actually really well put together. Long par 5’s, short par 3’s and everything in between. Given how tight some of the angles are I recall only one blind shot, which I think is a hallmark of stupidity on some courses with much more space.

In particular, the 18th I really liked that hole, you can not over hit your second shot and ramming a full blooded 3 wood at the clubhouse is one of my favourite memories in golf on any course.

So well done Pacific, and will also mention that the two members I spoke to were helpful and friendly also. Ten from ten on this occasion.

Have a great weekend,

It definitely happened. I wrote about it on Iseekgolf. That’s been decided.

Had I scored a hole in one and wasn’t in a comp then that may not have happened. Please keep up Mr F.

Sorry sir....I will treat this thread like the rules thread. Drop in occasionally but try not to display my obvious lack of knowledge.

Seems I’ve been treating my own thread in same way Francie does, just dropping in occasionally. All is well for those who care. For those who don’t, well.........Hi Goldy.

Hope you’ve all been well, looking forward to catching up with my friends at the Nationals. Talk soon.
