perhaps he also don't believe you'd be off single figures if the size of the hole was the only difference

not sure if it ever took off but a kiwi invented a game called "golfcross". Uses an egg shaped golf ball and the "scoring" is done by hitting the ball over a goal like a rugby goal. The course is same as a golf course but the greens are called yards.

Anything to add kiwi?

Google it...I kid you not. I was over there in 2010 and saw a "package" with the ball and a book of instructions in a visitor centre. Obviously hasn't taken off
