Betting? Mmm ... Probably guessing would be a better word!

I'm betting the pro is a big believer in creating width on the backswing?

Bet or guess either is right :) it was something I was doing but after nearly 6 months away I probably got lazy and forgot , by creating width allows me to set my wrist in the right position and this then gains club head speed on the downswing

Played yesterday and came in with 30 points. I don't normally ride in a cart and sometimes have to adjust my game as I don't get a chance to prepare my self for my next shot as I do when walking. I had not played much in the week prior and feel it takes a while to find my rhythm . The putter was going ok on the slower than normal greens ( I think they have let the greens grow to protect them from the hot weather.) I just concentrated on getting close to the hole and minimise poor putts. The only issue was bunkers yesterday but more golf will reduce poor bunker play.

I find playing serious golf while using a cart really puts me off.  I feel like I don't know where I should be, and like  you I miss the process of preparing for the shot while walking to the ball.

Because it has been in the 40's the last couple times I have played and I have lost some golf fitness, I took the opportunity to ride in the cart. As my golf fitness improves I will be walking more and getting out a couple times in the week to play 9.
