How many attended the meeting? I think that was always going to happen BTW, it'll be interesting to know the future plans & how long he's prepared to fund it if it continues to lose money. Vote still scheduled for next Thursday?

I am not sure I got this information from a guy with a dog he did say there was a lot of unhappy people

I can't imagine any member would be happy with these developments. The remaining members I know aren't talking. @CameronW & @bubaboy curious to know what/how it all went down.

Any updates on how the vote went? One would assume it could only have gone one way.

Hearing there's some improvement in the course condition out there at present. Very positive to hear. Also hearing mood around the club is a bit better too. Really hope Yering comes good again. When course condition is good, it's a good place to play. Anyone on here got any feedback?

Not sure what happened to my previous post but will try again with an abbreviated post.

I played the course today with a 28 year member who told me of the goings on since I left the club in March this year. It’s fair to say there’s been some turbulence but from what I saw today, things are turning around sharply.

The course is currently in magnificent condition, the best I’ve ever seen it in fact. The member who I played today’s round with says it’s the best the course has looked in 5-6 years. It’s a pleasure to play again.

There’s a new management crew and a number of new staff from reception to bar & pro shop staff. They all display positivity and vibrancy I haven’t seen since the Croydon days. The club is closing in on 700 members and judging on the table settings and staff arriving for dinner shifts, the restaurant is once again starting to do good business.

The pro shop is really well stocked for the first time in a long time. I’d say things are well & truly on the up and upon hearing of some of the plans of the new owner, as well as seeing his investment so far, they’re definitely on the right track. Can’t wait to play another round there again soon.

Played there again today, the Homestead course. Course is in great condition and thoroughly enjoyed the round. There must’ve been 40 odd people in the bar when I left too, can’t remember that happening too often in my previous time at the club. Things have certainly turned around. Looking forward to going back there soon.
