Here is my trusty and faithful deckie with some sort of jumping silver carp we got in NT this October, killed it anyway :D
 
caught 113 jumping silver carps in total plus some dolphins which tasted great btw :P
 
you know.....barramundi the word, roughly translated from aboriginal is actually 'hook spitting bastards'......true story
 
can't upload much more damn it

Great session on the silver ghosts last night , 3 landed 12 7 and 4kg.
Lost 3 as well but its fishing not catching.

Great session on the silver ghosts last night , 3 landed 12 7 and 4kg.
Lost 3 as well but its fishing not catching.

I've never had the pleasure of fighting a mulloway.
Such a cool fish and it's fitting that they often require a lot of hard work before you succeed.

yeah mate, they are a great reward for the effort that's for sure, guess its even more rewarding when youre not guaranteed to catch em every time you go out as well.

Take a trip down to the Nelson River   they will often  get a few decent  mulloway there.....

 

i heard the best time there is at night.......

 

if ya want to chase a mulloway there you may find  its under S.A angling laws as i know they have a closed season on them

No closed season in SA but they do have different minimum length in the Coorong to the rest of the state.
