Marc
be positve mate you are leading the OOM table in C grade and have a real chance to be the winner after Sunnyshine. OOM

from memory the only one in front of you is Mr Sunshine style himself and he will have the added pressure of playing on home
ground in front of of his fans.

Think of good round you had a few weeks back at le Frogge, so
form is there.
maybe give the super coach Garth a call and go and see him to
help get game back on track.

2017 OOM winner at Growling Frog.

2016 A grade winner Moonah legends OOM4.

2015 member of team Vision winners of SGC pennant.

2014 National ISG champion

2014 winner Kooindah waters

2014 winner Magenta shores

2014 first ever hole in 1 in an ISG event, 4th Hole Kooindah waters 19th October

2012 winner of BHIC and gaining a 5 year exemption

...

- when I think about the points the putts are worth I tend to choke.

Focus on process, not result.

Focus on proper execution of each shot, rather than the points the shot has.

Consistent, repeatable processes and technique, will lead to more consistent results.

kiss  it works well  marc

we are never going to have the perfect game even though we like to think we have as we all want to go that 1 better in our journey of golf...

dont worry about that poor shot ya just hit  into rough   just forget about it and start again from that new position

play to your personel par

the 3 pointers will come along but just  play to 2 points and wammo you will have 36 points and ya just played to your handicap  wether you are scratch marker or a 36 handicap golfer

i do not see the point in playing the hero shot specially if i can  see a better option  that will help me get my 2 points

playing the hero shot can cost a shot or 2 specially if you do not pull it off

by  playing 1 extra shot safely out can  mean giving yaself the best chance of personel par

Keep  stats marc  it is like keeping a diary for fishing mate  it all helps you for your next game ....

keep stats for the bad  as well as the good

you wont see  the mistakes you are making straight away in stats but once you get a few stats and do the maths  you may just see it is short game that is effecting your game and that would be the spot to work on

marc good luck with the journey there i am sure you will  get better ya bandit

I AM ALWAYS FORCED TO DO SH1T I'M NOT QUALIFIED FOR. LIKE BEING NICE TO BLOODY ID1OTS :P :D

Thanks for replying ozdevil.  I do tend to lose my focus.  I used to be 'never give up on a point'. I am going to get that back.

Probably played too many 'handicap' games where i heaped the pressure on to score, big : 3 and 4 points.  Might try a few more social / non scoring rounds without recording the score to see what happens.

This thread has a 93% "Fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

That's pretty poor.  I need to be better than that!

Did you know it was Godly's birthday today Frank?

I'd tell you where the surprise party is happening, but the walls have ears, if you know what I mean.

Suffice to say that it is happening over at "the trumpeters place".

The Springbok is over there as we speak putting up the final decorations (as well as rifling down the back of the trumpeters couch for spare change)
