Went out today with the thought to just swing easy and get the weight moving onto the front foot.
When I did it was pretty steady bogey golf. Shot 10 over on the back 9 with a triple on the 10th.
Got ahead of myself and lost it on the front 9. So only 35 points.
I shank/scooped a couple and this is something I need to realize is not getting through the ball.
Hit some mint 3w into the long par 4s and on the par 5s.
I will say it was fun. Which as old mate G says is the main thing.

It is indeed Micky ..... none of us re going to make the PGA tour, so we'd better be making the best of it.

Getting through the ball though is more than half the battle, so well worth trying to fix. Lots of online info on that to consider.

So after some protracted discussion around how Ghetto can win, the target is set to be 18.4 or below by December this year.

That means I will need to get 7 played to 20 and one played to 19 to achieve this as flags on my Golf-link.

So I need to play at least one comp round a week and let the numbers take care of themselves.

That is triple the amount of golf I would play in a year :D

So, you basically need to shoot no more than one over, on average, for every hole you play.

How do you plan on achieving that?

You going to take it easy off the tee, lay up, chip on and two putt all the par 4s?

Go 5i, 5i, 5i and chip on and two putt all the par 5s?

Play for safety off the tee on par 3s, leave n easy chip n run, then two putt?

It is achievable, but you'll need a solid mental game, and by mental I do not mean bat sh.it crazy.
