Looks better at the moment, no wind yet and hopefully stays that way, heading away from me but towards a small village and some prime agriculture land. This pic was taken by a friend last night some 40 to 50 kms away from the fire All they said about it was holy crap........... Couldn't describe it better EDIT Wind has come again and fire is moving rapidly ........

Thanks Madam........... Wind is swirling and the fire is creeping closer to town..... 28 homes have been destroyed and just spoke to a mate who was out on our old farm and he reckons there was 250 dead cattle there on that one place...... If it keeps coming towards town it could well get interesting later on........

Coona is getting a fair bit of cover on the news here at present Peg. Hope all is well with yourself and family. Thoughts go out to those that have already lost homes and stock. Keep safe bud.

News report tonight was that they believe 33 homes gone but won't know until fire front shifts and they can get in to some of the areas. No lives lost that they know of thankfully.

From what I hear no lives lost...... God knows how Property loses and stock loses will be confirmed this picture should have the title..... Holly mother of god........... Believe it or not the house that can seen at base of that fireball still stands......... I was in Canberra when it burnt and can appreciate what high temps and a bushfire can do, did not want to see that again thank you very much....................... Helicopters and planes are still hard at work and hopefully getting some form of control and wind has died down........ We will be safe I think, communities and farmers north and west of us have big problems and my thoughts are with them............
