Couldn't agree more about the long putter and the Olympics. Here's a guy who feels like a custodian of the game. What a treat for us to have him here.

I was going to say the same thing. An Olympic gold medal should be the best trophy in your cabinet, if you've got a green jacket and a claret urn in there as well, your gold medal is probably third best.

Dead set agree 100% with his Olympics call. They put everything in the Olympics nowadays. Golf shouldn't be there, nor half the stuff in it.

I think golf would be great in the olympics in the right format. It needs to be nation based rather than individual based. A kind of modified ryder/presidents cup, but with smaller squads so as many as say 16 nations could field a strong team, ie no more than 3-4 per nation. You might have to have some pre-qualifying rounds like they do in the football to fit it in in time.

A real shame the World Cup of Golf is not one of the biggest tourneys anymore.Tom Watson candid about Long putter, didn`t hold back.They are cheats.
