Really not sure what we did in our past lives, but it must have been shite.

We take 1 small step forward, things start looking up a little, then someone says 'Fuckk You' and we get pole axed

Starting with my diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis which is still an ongoing process trying to find a happy median.

Sues health goes up and down at an alarming rate.

Then our boy dog Grady was diagnosed with skin cancers a few months ago. Then he started limping and has bad arthritis. medication for that started to not work recently. Last week xrays revealed bone cancer in his front legs.

How the hell can there be 2 living creatures in 1 house with fuckin bone cancer? Seriously what the heel did we do wrong.

Grady has gone down hill dramatically in the last couple of days. One more drug to try hopefully. Waiting for the vet to ring me back with a decision.

Sue is a dead set mess. Hasnt stopped crying in 2 days. Its all just to close to home

Mate - so sorry to hear all that. It's like a flood at your place - so brutal for you all.

Sending best wishes your way for all of you. Not much I know. Let me know if there is anything else I can do.

Sooo hard, cause pets are one of the things that give so much comfort when others are going through issues - it just breaks my heart to even think of you guys having to deal with this on top of everything else.

Ahh shite Rob.   Everyone has their issues and bad/difficult times but you guys have really drawn the short straw recently.    Nothing I can say will help the problems go but I'm sure our ISG community hope that things improve for you and the family real soon.   All the best.

Aww man not good! Best wishes and if you need it, I would dare say many of us are, here to help in anyway we can!!

I reckon your on the money.

But.

How can we help? What do they need help with? And will they reach out, ask?

In my experience, forums like this are great for sharing the pain, but, other than offer nice words, there's little others on the forum can do due to distance, knowing the person, etc.

That said, a problem shared is a problem halved, as is often said... So, forums, online communities, like this, provide that relief, release, to those struggling.

There's always the risk of over stepping,.interfering, intruding ... But, humanity needs people to care about others.

So, I'll put this out there. Rob, feel free to shut it down, but, I'll bet the costs of treatments for all are mounting. So, I propose those interested donate the price of a dozen golf balls to Rob, to use however suits his family best.

Whatever you usually play, that your bench mark ...

I'm sure someone on here can work the logistics to make it happen, obviously, subject to Rob accepting.

I lose Pro V1 like lollies at a kids birthday party, so, thats my benchmark.

Who's in? What's your benchmark?

Thanks for your thoughts guys and gall. Is very much appreciated.

Again, crap just got to much to handle. I dont talk about stuff in person. Nny face wont let me, so i can only do it in text.

Hell, i even text sue when it all gets to much.

Hack, appreciate the thoughts mate, but its ok.

Grady is doing a little better. The tramadol knocked him for 6, really not good.

He has started a new drug, Gaba something or other. He is much happier, but he still hobbles badly.

Hee only started that yesterday, seems to have improved a bit. Hopefully he keeps improving

Stableford of the blues today, windy and gusty.

Wasnt confident after my warm up session.

Irons have been abysmal for the last couple of weeks. But they were pretty good today.

Driver was great apart from 3 holes were i tried to hit the cover of the ball.

Short game was fairly ok, some very good, some reasonable. Nothing terrible.

Bunkers are again a mystery to me. Struggling a lot. Constantly thin.

Putting was good. Left 5 putts 1-2" short dead on line.

34 points. The stretch from 15-17 gets me badly. Need to play them better so i can score better obviously

Tomorrow will be good with Muzz, Bully and Dallas coming for a hit to get there eye in for OOM 5

Then playing Cup day of the Folks for shitss and giggles
