I love the "class" debate. I'm a tradesman so I'm "working class". It really fascinates me how the "upper class" genuinely believe that their $100 note is better than mine.

Will always exist so why worry. In golf however, at least in Australia it is now less of an issue. You don't need to be posh to join RM, but I suspect they would prefer you didn't carry on like a bogan.

The US funnily enough, land of the free and all that, is the place where the class system in golf is alive and well. Many clubs wouldn't let a labourer in other than by the back door to fix the taps. Sort of funny how that worked out

Not sure RM is the best example but other courses that is now the case.

I Played RM middle of last year in Sat comp. Of the three members I played with none could have been remotely considered upper class and one was indeed a bricklayer (albeit a pretty darn good player)
