So you layed up on one, with an iron from the tee to have a " 7 iron " into the first for the birdie ?
If you had hit the bigdog on 1 isn't it just a sand iron flick onto the green ?
I think you play a different game to the rest of us, Goldenshorthitterwhackerguy :)

Goldy hits his 7i about 100m Jon. Otherwise it would have been his magic hybrid :D

Hit it harder !

Sorry oh Goldenperson, I have misquoted the distance somewhat, it's 137 not 125 my bad.

Congrats btw if I hadn't already said so.

( Damn, just went from a hard 9 to a smooth 8 )

Umm...ok.

Thank you,

FWB was in the group behind me on the day (as was Muzwell and Benny)...he birdied the 5th and told me at lunch a few days after that he hit 8 iron. I said that was good...but did it go in?

I figure I hit the club I need...not the one everyone else does ;)

And arriving yesterday was the Adams 16deg fairway wood...on special from GCO. I'm hoping I can get this one in the air a little better than the RBZ2 that is currently in the bag. Or was.

Surely there is a 1 hybrid somewhere, with your name on it??? :(

I quite like the RBZ2 3W, (its my go to 2nd option off the tee these days) ......... I presume you've tweaked the loft settings etc, and it's still no good?

Yeah...cranked it up to it's highest...which I still reckon in a load of tripe...how the hell do you change loft merely by twisting the shaft to a different position...and I just find it difficult to make consistent contact.

I think it's more likely me than the club...but you never know.
