Anyone have any thoughts on which courses would rate the best in country Victoria - There used to be no question in my mind with Horsham number 1 but I haven't been back since the fires destroyed all their trees. Also lets not include the Peninsula in this discussion as I would still class that Very loosely as Melbourne.

Trafalgar, Trentham, +1 Port Fairy. The river courses are nice. Shepparton. Would be way too hard to chose one. Most directions you travel in Vic you will find some very nice tracks.

Trafalgar. long way infront of anywhere else I've played. Second choise would be Warragul, but only if I'm in a cart.

What about some of the Ballarat courses - Forest Resort, new Ballarat or the old favourite Buninyong? Do love the Port Fairy course worth the trip in itself. Haven't got down to Barwon Heads but hear good things. Murray courses are good but technically in NSW. Murray Downs would be the pick of them followed by Yarrawonga River Course.

Cobram/Barooga is looking good again & with a choice of 2 courses to play you can make a weekend of it... Tocumwal, whilst NSW (only 15min from Cobram or Barooga), is also another good one...

So many golf courses…so little time

Just played all these this week on holidays, very nice. Greens at tocumwal were almost as quick a green I've ever played. Long and wide which suits me. Yarrawonga courses were the pick for us though......beautiful courses in fantastic condition. Only problem is all their beer is sold in middies unless you ask for schooners...soft Victorians. And they weren't impressed with you when you told them too late.

Golfer: You’ve got to be the worst caddy in the world
Caddy: I Don’t think so sir, that would be too much of a coincidence

The golf course is in NSW??
