Had a day at the races today instead of golf and being a novice took a couple of hunch bets. Backed Big Henry in the 8th but he let me down however good old Mac's Success in the 9th came in at a handsome $29.60 for the win biggrin.gif . I knew you Victorians were good for something.

Matt,

you inspired a bet of mine at Sandown today.
What a coincidence ! biggrin.gif
It got me some cash for a place, late in the day.

Many people at Randwick today?
How did Dance Hero look in the first?

Matt, Dance Hero won well. Which one of you guys is the "dance hero" to inspire the bet?. There probably wasn't too many at Randwick the races were at Rosehill :? . They were pretty short priced winners all day till Mac's Success more than made up for my losses on the day in the last. smile.gif

Matt

Where you in the bar when The Man also won in Sydney ?

I was at Doomben with the family so it was a quiet day on the punt, but that freedman horse in the 7th won in a canter. I guess it is targetted at one of the bit Gold Coast races soon. It can go many lengths quicker that yesterday.

Some nice cloud cover in Brisbane which kept the sting out of the sun. Some very nice fillies on display too. Some I think were still untried.
