Not the most amazing par 3's but if you can play the 5 par 3's at Flinders you are playing awesome golf! No 3 204m, No 9 174m, No 12 140m, No 14 156m and No 17 174m. If you can be close to par through these wind prone holes you are on the way to a great score!

Healesville, either the 18 or 4 hole course. 2 at NSW is very ordinary. 6 is a dull green in a lovely setting. 11 is average. 17 has been ruined with terrible plantings. My mind first turned to the Mornington Peninsula, but they are not much chop there either. Huge missed opportunities at the National, with the exception of the 7th on the first course.

Jesus...... healsville must be special hahaha

NSW GC has three very good par 3s and one world class par 3. Come to think of it the back-up hole there is a very short par 3, so techincally they have 5 par 3s.

Agree Bushwood, guess you are thinking the 2nd is not too flash. I do like the fact that they all face different directions.

Agree too. 6, obviously, and 11 at NSW GC are superb. Only played there once, and that was back in February, but I remember thinking the 2nd was more memorable (just) than the 17th. All the par fives at NSW face different points on the compass too. How insanely open to the wind is the 11th at NSW? I nearly go blown away.
Oh, I found ALL of the par 3s at both Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm to be awesome!!! The only one that wasn't utter standout was the 20th (or do they call it 18b? Can't remember) at Lost Farm. The other 'spare' par 3 at Lost Farm is awesome too. Oh, how hardcore is that first par 3 (5th, I think) at Barnbougle Dunes? I know the 7th is a cracker, but 5 is killer too...

Jed, you forgot to mention the two other long tough 3's on the Flinders track, ( depending on the wind :) the 1st and the 11th.

11th at woodend is a fun hole. Tee is elevated about 50 metres or so, 150ish to the green

Love a lot of the par 3's down at the peninsula, Eagle Ridge is a course I find so so overall but they have some cracking par 3's imo.

Cape Schanck 14th with a triple tiered green, depending on where the pin is, it can change the hole completely, one of my favs as well.

12th at Southern is a 3 level green surrounded by bunkers and uphill.......definite challenge to get it on the right level, especially if it's up the back.

That's a little unfair that hole, if the flags up the back from memory the branches from the trees prevent you from going for it

Thirteenth beach (beach course) has the best collection of par 3s I've played anywhere, period. The whole course is a cracker (and massively underrated) but the par 3s are worth the trip down there alone.

The 3rd isn't great but the other three are brilliant.
