RA probably has the toughest par 3s to hit that I've played. Lucky there are only 3 of them.

10 under around 13th Beach is awesome. Mathew Bruce now plays at The Sands Torquay, I've played a bit of golf with him at the club. The past two years he was a part of the victorious Division 1 team from The Sands Torquay. Ironically we beat 13th Beach both times in the final. Matt can play! Here is a photo of the Div 1 team for 2011, Matt is on the far right.

I've taken some new photos of the 12th and 15th holes on the Creek Course at 13th Beach, let me know what you think?

The forum program won't let me upload anymore than one image at a time, so here is the link to the photos I took at the 12th and 15th holes at the Creek Course 13th Beach. You'll also notice there is a photo of the 11th green also. It was looking too good to just walk past and not capture it. Let me know what you think of the photos. http://www.golfimage...rse-photoshoot/

Healesville, either the 18 or 4 hole course. 2 at NSW is very ordinary. 6 is a dull green in a lovely setting. 11 is average. 17 has been ruined with terrible plantings. My mind first turned to the Mornington Peninsula, but they are not much chop there either. Huge missed opportunities at the National, with the exception of the 7th on the first course.

I always loved the par 3s at The Colonial on the Gold Coast. Given the water carries on each and extensive bunkering if you could score well on them it set up for a really good round.

Hoe 16 at 13th Beach - Beach Course may well be the best par 3 hole in Victoria EDIT - Just learnt not to start a sentence in this forum with "#16". Watch your letters grow and grow. LOL

Can't stand that little hole. It hates me. I could throw a better score on 16 nine times out of ten.

Can I ask why you love the 17th? It gets all the accolades but I find it quite average and much prefer the 3rd as a par 3. Short but exposed to the wind with a tiered green and trouble all around. I think its brilliant.

Because I birdied it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bloody tough hole and I think the length, bunkers and wind make it very enjoyable whenever you play it well.

I reckon the set at the Moonah course are pretty good. Four very different green sites, lengths and backdrops. And by the way, anyone that complains about the semi-blind 13th green is too stupid to look where the pin is on either the 7th green or 8th tee!

Nowhere gets even close to the 3s on the Old Course at the National.
