Big Sam has done it again, what a Legend of The EPL he is. Palace will again no doubt impress early again in August.

So what about Chelsea? Don't care. Can they also win Champions League and go the Double?

Arsenal? Don't care. Feck off Wegner...

Liverpool, hopefully they improve under Klopp and go a few better next season.

Spurs have continued to do amazingly well, and surprised in nearly winning it.

Man Utd may not play Champions League again next season, what a shame and Jose could be friendless by Christmas if they are not on top LoL..

Palarse will probably be bottom 3 come October and poor old Sam will get the boot. He has an amazing record of keeping teams up, but supporters always want the next level next time round, not realizing that safety is about all the bottom 12 clubs in the EPL can hope for.

Massive, massive gap between 6th and 8th in the league again this year. 23 points difference. Southampton 8th with 46 points which is just 2 wins more than the "traditional" safety mark of 40pts. So realistically everyone from 8th down was just 3 or 4 poor games away from relegation.

As for Man U, I think that Jose put the cue in the rack once they made the Euro Cup final. Their whole season rests on that game. If they win, they are in the Champions League next season. Lose and Jose will be under a heck of pressure in August (assuming he's still there).

Good thing for the EPL is that again next season, although Chelsea will again be hot favorites, there will be about 6 or 7 teams that genuinely think they can win it (unless someone "does a Leicester"). Go back a decade and it was Man U, Arsenal or no-one.

Massive final for Man Utd, i agree there. It was always between the top 4 firms, Arsenal, MU Liverpool or Spurs. But you have to love these Billionaire Owners who think they can manufacture success and have to some extent with Man City and Chelsea winning EPL Titles, but a long way from Euro success. Leicester must be investigated, that was entirely out of the box......

The safety of 15th and above is always never good enough if you have spent your TV rights pounds on talent, but meh, i love it that a club like Crystal Palace have defied the odds again.........

The best story is that of Winksies mob, Bournemouth. Top 10 finish with crowds of 11k and no stars. Takes some doing.

Although (to a lesser degree) they have also been bank-rolled by a wealthy owner, and you do have to fear what happens if he/they up-stumps and take their cash with them.

Well, that was a surprise. Big Sam has resigned from Palace stating he wants more family time and be able to do stuff while he's still young enough.

That sounds like he's retiring from Football management full stop.

Until the next EPL club scrambling to avoid relegation offers him a 1M pounds to save them

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Enjoy him while he's there mate. Big clubs calling soon (or, if he's unlucky, England).
