The next round of the LintzOnline PGA tipping competition is now open. Click on over to http://www.lintzonline.com and enter your tips for the Travelers Championship where Bubba Watson is the defending champion. If you’ve just signed up the rules are the same as the ISG tipping competition from last year in that you need to tip 4 players each week, one from OZ, USA, Rest Of The World and a Bonus player with their combined world golf rankings not exceeding 10 points. The rest of the rules are on the site. Good Luck!!

Round 1 was called off due to rain with over an inch falling during the first round. Only 2 groups finished their 18 holes with over 75 players yet to tee off.

My round 2 update didn't save for some reason but it was all about amateur Patrick Cantlay who shot a course record 10 under 60 to hold a 1 shot lead from Johnson Wagner heading into the weekend. Unfortunately he couldn't keep things going in the 3rd round and has faded after a 2 over 72. He is now 5 shots behind the 54 hole leader, Fredrik Jacobson. Jacobson is bogey free through 54 holes and if continues his impressive streak I'm sure he'll come away with a victory. Chasing Jacobson 1 shot back is Bryce Molder as well as a pack of 7 players all with 3 shots. The final round should be a good shoot out! The best of the aussies is Aaron Baddeley who had a 3rd round 66 to move 14 spots up the leader board and into T16. There are 9 squads with a player T4 after 3 rounds so the final round will be an interesting one. The new overall leader Sea Eagle 07 had 1 player make the weekend so should be able to hold onto the overall lead. To view your squads progress visit www.lintzonline.com. Good Luck!

Round 4 saw another bunch of birdies made from everyone trying to chase down Fredrik Jacobson but Jacobson just did enough with a 4 under 66 to secure him his first PGA Tour victory in 188 starts. Ryan Moore was his biggest threat with both players tied at 20 under coming up the 18th but when Moore missed a 4 foot par putt the door was wide open for Jacobson. Jacobson hit his approach shot to 10 feet and 2 putted for the win. Aaron Baddeley was the best of the aussies in T24. The leading squad for the week was Pippolo who picked up over $500K in prize money. The weekly win also moved Pippolo over 9 places on the leaderboard and is now in 12th overall. Sea Eagle 07 still holds down top spot even after only picking up just under $80K. He now holds a 30K lead over blueberrysmissus. To view your squads results visit www.lintzonline.com.
