I think The Springs might be in for another name change...Has "The Lakes" been taken? :)

Peats Ridge Rapids for me.

The key to success is to learn to do something right, then do it right every time. Oh I wish…..

One time winner (so far) of the treasured WBT.

"The Rapids" at Peats Ridge...I think we are on to something Dave :-))

Hopefully 'The Rapids" have diminished considerably before the 12th. Maybe just The Ponds' will suffice.

Well...nearly, apart from the greens, the course isn't in too bad a nick considering the amount of rain that has fallen.

Well after playing it I can see why Waffle has such a high regard for the place Barnesy they are going to have some problems with those greens for sometime I would think. Major operation to get them back into nick. Course itself is a challenge, lots of water and a challenge in positioning ya ball of the tee to stay out of trouble. Will be interesting to see how it shapes up once it dries out

It'll shape up fine once the bugs have been ironed out. Normally the greens there are top notch & when they are right again it will be full steam ahead. It is a tough course but I still reckon that it is good value for money. (when greens are good)

Played there today with Junior Barnesy. Course is on it's way back. The greens have all but recovered (still a few marks on a couple) found out today that it wasn't a bug in the greens...a herbicide was used instead of an insecticide....oops. Prearations for the new clubhouse, 14 appartments and a chapel in place. Owner is spending a cool $5mill on the clubhouse an parking area alone. It will be in top notch for another WBT day next year.

Barnesy, did you happen to ask about whether membership would open up there or if it was going to be positioned as a resort style course?
