I have taken some photos which I have saved on my computer. I have attempted to upload them into a topic but I get an error stating ;- "we're sorry, something has gone awry. Please check back soon." Does it have anything to do with the size?? Can anyone help this computer illiterit to get around this (in plain language please)

Last Photo I loaded was 2.4 mb. That was only about 4 days ago.

Just loaded this and worked, what type of file? jpg works best, a few types will not work at all., The size 300kb is good, if to big may not work either sometimes

Francie, I just wonder if the path to the file on your local PC has spaces in it? That's often enough to upset simple systems.

Madam, they are all Jpg's but it still wont upload. No idea.

So Francie, just to clarify that you're doing it right: In the [Image Upload] area below where you type a reply, you click the [Browse] button and select a file such as c:\temp\image1.jpg (no spaces at all there) amd then click the [Upload Image] button. Do you get a pile of text (actually html) then inserted into the [Reply] panel?

Just upload to imageshack (free) then link here using the [ image ] field codes.

That's the trouble OB, I'm not getting anything into the reply box except the error message coming up. I tried it here again and I'm getting the same message.

Courtesy of Francie - the ISG Stinkler Perpetual Trophy for Putting Excellence. Image Image Image I'm sure the issues you were having with the uploader were just some website bug. I've just done it another way which takes the ISG uploader and hosting out of the equation for greater reliability.
