I have taken some photos which I have saved on my computer. I have attempted to upload them into a topic but I get an error stating ;- "we're sorry, something has gone awry. Please check back soon." Does it have anything to do with the size?? Can anyone help this computer illiterit to get around this (in plain language please)

Francie, I just wonder if the path to the file on your local PC has spaces in it? That's often enough to upset simple systems.

So Francie, just to clarify that you're doing it right: In the [Image Upload] area below where you type a reply, you click the [Browse] button and select a file such as c:\temp\image1.jpg (no spaces at all there) amd then click the [Upload Image] button. Do you get a pile of text (actually html) then inserted into the [Reply] panel?

That's the trouble OB, I'm not getting anything into the reply box except the error message coming up. I tried it here again and I'm getting the same message.

Can you attach the pics to an email? Email to septembersquall at gmail.com. I will host them (free) and post them for you, or will send you some text to 'copy and paste' into a post of your own to display the pics. This isn't time consuming for me so it's no imposition, look forward to helping if I can. Cheers!

Posted to you via email, SS. That worked fine for some reason. Good luck posting them but I'm sure you know what you are doing.

Courtesy of Francie - the ISG Stinkler Perpetual Trophy for Putting Excellence. Image Image Image I'm sure the issues you were having with the uploader were just some website bug. I've just done it another way which takes the ISG uploader and hosting out of the equation for greater reliability.
