The next round of the LintzOnline PGA tipping competition is now open. Click on over to http://www.lintzonline.com and enter your tips for the Memorial Tournament where Justin Rose is the defending champion. If you’ve just signed up the rules are the same as the ISG tipping competition from last year in that you need to tip 4 players each week, one from OZ, USA, Rest Of The World and a Bonus player with their combined world golf rankings not exceeding 10 points. The rest of the rules are on the site. Good Luck!!

At the completion of round 1 Chris Riley and Rory McIlory were a top the leaderbaord after signing for 6 under 66's. McIlory powered home making birdies on 3 of his last 4 holes. The best of the aussies are Aaron Baddeley, Robert Allenby and John Senden who all shot 1 under 71's. Allenby would have cursing himself after having 2 bogeys in his last 3 holes. Another assuie, Matt Jones unfortunatley had the worst first round with a 10 over 82 which included 3 double bogeys! The leading squad after the first round is terrys. Although terrys only has McIlory playing this week, if he wins it doesn't matter that his other 3 squad members had the week off! blueberrysmissus has 3 out of 4 players teeing it up this week so it looks like more prize money coming her way to stay at the top of the overall leaderboard. Round 2 saw Steve Stricker climb up the leader board thanks to a hole in one on the 8th hole. He finished with a 5 under 67 to hold a 2 shot lead heading into the 3rd round. Stricker continued his great form into the 3rd round and increased his lead after holing out for eagle on the 2nd hole and then making eagle on the par 5 5th. He also joined an elite group of players who have made eagle on a par 3, 4 and 5 all in the same tournament! Trying to catch Stricker at the top of the leaderboard is Jonathan Byrd and Matt Kuchar who are 3 and 4 shots back respectively. Matching the equal low round of the tournament during the 3rd round was aussie Marc Leishman who shot a 6 under 66 to move 41 spots up the leaderboard and into T8. The leading squads after the 3rd round are jaknite and SauceBottle who will be hpoing Byrd can rope in Stricker in the final round. As no squad has Sticker I can't see to much movement at the top of the leaderboard after the final round is complete but we'll have to wait and see. What a finish to 'Jacks' tournament. Stricker opened his final round with birdies on 1 and 2 to extend his lead but Matt Kuchar and Brandt Jobe weren't about to give him the tournament. Both players shot 31 on the front 9 to close in on Strickers lead. A wild tee shot from Stricker on the 15th lead to a bogey and a 2 shot lead with 3 to play. He then sank a 15 foot par putt on 16, sank a 8 foot par putt on 17 fand made bogey up the last to hang on for a 1 shot victory. Watching the finish live on PGATour.com, even the best in the world feel the pressure coming down the stretch on Sunday! Dustin Johnson matched the low round of the tournament after closing with a 7 under 65 and finished in solo 4th position. The best of the aussies was John Senden who finished T7 after a closing 4 under 68. The leading squad for the week was sire_harvey who along with Kuchar had Bo Van Pelt and just finished above my little man, Little Lintz for the top sqaud of the week! blueberrysmissus picked up another handy lot of prize money but her lead is now under $1M from GoTigerWoods2000. The second half of the season will be interesting! To view your squads results visit www.lintzonline.com.
