The next round of the LintzOnline PGA tipping competition is now open. Click on over to http://www.lintzonline.com and enter your tips for the Zurich Classic where Jason Bohn is the defending champion. If you’ve just signed up the rules are the same as the ISG tipping competition from last year in that you need to tip 4 players each week, one from OZ, USA, Rest Of The World and a Bonus player with their combined world golf rankings not exceeding 10 points. The rest of the rules are on the site. Good Luck!!

After the completion of round 1 Bubba Watson and aussie Matt Jones share the lead at 6 under. Right on their heals, one shot back are a bunch of players including another aussie in Nick O'Hern, 2 gloves Tommy Gainey and former world #1 David Duval. Unfortunately, at the wrong end of the leaderboard is aussie Cameron Percy who shot a 7 over 9 and former major winner John Daly who shot a 9 over 81! Luke Donald opened with a 4 under 68 in his quest to become the #1 ranked player in the world. The leading squads after the first round are billp, blueberrysdog, jonho and Tezzadawg who are all hoping Bubba can go wire to wire. This could be our week to catch blueberrysmissus as she only has 2 players teeing it up and after the first round they are both T137. It will be an interesting weekend! Bubba Watson is looking for his second win of the season and if he can hang on for a wire to wire victory he'll jump to the #1 spot on the FedEx Points leaderboard. He holds the 54 hole lead with Webb Simpson who is looking for his first PGA victory. 1 shot behind the leaders is John Rollinswho shot his 3rd straight round in the 60's. A further shot back are 6 players inclucing aussie Matt Jones, K.J. Choi and Steve Stricker. Sunday is going to be a shoot out for sure with some many players close to the lead! The leading squads heading into the final round are still billp, blueberrysdog, jonho and Tezzadawg who are all hoping Bubba can hold on come Sunday. Even with blueberrysmissus out of the money this week I can't see any of the 10 top making much of an dent on her lead but tomorrow is another day full of surprises. Another week on the PGA tour and another playoff. Bubba Watson and Webb Simpson were both tied at 15 under after regulation. Both players had a chance to win on the 18th in regulation but neither golfer could sink their birdie putt. On the first playoff hole both players holed similar putt lengths to what they had in regulation for birdies. On the 2nd playoff hole both players were short of the par 5 18th in 2 but Watson was the only one to get up and down and in doing so won his second tournament of the year and the thrid of his career. The win not only moves him to the top of the FedEx Points leaderboard but also to #10 in the world rankings. The best of the aussies was Matt Jones who finished T6. The leading squad for the week was Tezzadawg who pocketed over $1.2M in prize money. The weekly win also moves Tezzadawg 16 spots up the leaderboard and is now in 10th position overall. Although blueberrysmissus didn't add to her total prize money this week she still has a $1.8M lead over GoTigerWoods2000. To view your squads results visit www.lintzonline.com.
