That’s a perfectly legit option Hack

We are a social club and lugging around 5 sets of NTPs with tape measures is harder than 5 plastic markets we leave on the green so it works for us

I get that you feel your option is the best one but not sure why you are so dead against any other option like the one PuttOvr has developed given it solves the issue you have raised about deflected balls

I've just never seen a NTP marker on a green, or see a need for one. Not 'dead against', it just does not make any sense to me.

PuttOvr option, like any 'marker on the green', will be moved progressively closer to the hole and therefore increases the risk, the chance, of a ball landing on it and being deflected.

For your social club, how do your record who holds the NTP if you only have plastic markers you leave on the green? Do you have a NTP card left off the green?

Hack, markers on greens are common, I'm surprised that you haven't come across them.

If, when putting, a marker might interfere, it gets moved away temporarily.

In my local region, most clubs utilise a note pad (or slips of paper) in a box, in a post, on the way to the next tee.

Our marker is a skewer with a plastic sleeve with a piece of paper in it which we leave stuck in the green where the ball was

But I’ve seen the marker and card at the side and that works well

It's a great idea, but I am pretty sure I would move the marker if it was in the line of my putt, regardless of whether someone said it was OK to putt over or not.

There is no way I would putt over it.

Do we know any scientists that could prove if it would or wouldn't effect the roll?

Me to I would move the marker every time,

The only time I would not move the marker and just PuttOvr the top of it, would be  when I was 10 shots over my handy cap, or 10 or more mts of the green

Thats about 80 percent of golfers can pass through the green a lot faster, no fuss and they all have little look at the advertising slogan on top of the marker

Thanks for your feedback

Yes that would be great Thanks

I have had a local machinist { ross engineering also a keen local golfer } here in alice make on a C an C lathe  5 x 35mm and NTP and 5 x 20mm Ball markers made  from solid steel and they look awesome. I have only 5 and they are what I am using to send to my suppliers to make me exact samples. I have sent 2 out so far. 1 more has gone to my golf club and they are now using it all week and will stay there. Can break 80 has asked for one. SO that leaves me just one. Can I send you A 20mm marker you can use as the NTP its the same just smaller it dose the same job. I will also chuck in a hand full of my "Ball marker pros" you can hand out to you golfing bros Just tell them it sits in the  hole in the end of there putter, not in the washing machine

Cheers PuttOver

Hey Puttovr

If you want to convince the non believers on here, send me One of the NTP markers and some ball markers and we will use at our ISG games either the OOM's or a bacon tour event.

this will be good market research for your product.

I have had a local machinist { ross engineering also a keen local golfer } here in alice makes me some on a C an C lathe  5 x 35mm NTP markers and 5 x 20mm Ball markers, made from solid steel and they look awesome. I have only 5 and they are what I am using to send to my suppliers to make me exact samples. I have sent 2 out so far. 1 more has gone to my golf club and they are now using it all week and will stay there. Can break 80 has asked for one also but I have ran out. SO that leaves me just one. Can I send you A 20mm marker in-place, its the same as the 35mm NTP marker just a bit smaller, but it dose the same job. I will also chuck in a hand full of my "Ball marker pros" you can hand them out to you golfing bros ....Just tell them it sits in the  hole in the end of there putter, not in the washing machine

Cheers PuttOver

Hi Can break 80

I have received your email and address, thank you for looking at my marker, with a bit of help from MADAM I am able to send your PuttOvr markers out tomorrow. Please remember I have ran out of the 35mm NTP and I am sending youth 20mm
The post office Here in alice springs is 1 day behind the world so every thing will be one day longer to arrive at your end.

Thanks bro..... I appreciate you looking further into at my invention

Ps. I ripped up a steel spike pad for you also in my shed, so you can show your local pro how the PuttOvr stores away so easy
