CB80

ISG Vic have an  OOM game coming up on Sunday.

I still have the original 25mm NTP marker you sent me.

I am thinking the best way to determine the effectiveness of your NTP marker is to use in a real game on one par 3 and compare puttovr marker system to our ball on spike marker on other par 3. or we might even use it on magpie hole.(NTP second shot- par 4)

I will discuss with Deege and rest of the committee whether we use the Puttovr NTP for this event or another Bacon Tour event later in July (probably at the Lang Lang Masters).

The 25mm marker I sent you is to small for a NTP marker { people can not find it on the green }
The 35mm is great and stands awesome on the green
I sent you the 25mm just to show you the design
The small markers are my PuttOvr markers

I actually touched the original puttovr ball marker today thanks to Toph.

Really well made and does sit pretty flat in greens.

A little Small top for my liking and may have trouble finding where I left it as colour is darker. May just be my old aging eyes.

Not sure on market for ball markers as a 5c coin can still do the job well

Maybe a little bigger top and sold with corporate logo, but that is a lot of work to sell the space!

Fluro orange works far better... you may have use the silver or gold.

My NTP markers are only weeks away from arriving and will send you out some as soon as they arrive

As an early review I would say
It’s very well crafted and designed
It sits securely in my putter handle. It’s so unobtrusive I thought I’d lost the black one yesterday and then after a couple holes realised it was still there.
It’s very very handy having it right there on your putter. As someone who tends to have a fair bit of crap in his pockets this is excellent.
It sits totally flush to even a fast green and has zero apparent effect on a ball running over it at even the slowest speeds.
Overall it’s a very good product.

That's the "ball marker" not the NTP marker you've reviewed.

Interesting you say it has "zero apparent effect on a ball running over it", because, unless I'm seeing things, in that video putty has posted all the white balls appear to deviate to the left. Obviously over a larger "NTP" marker, but still, the whole claim is now somewhat dubious IMHO.

I wouldn't be putting over a ball marker, let alone an NTP marker. I'd be asking for the ball marker to be moved a clubhead off my line.

Toph with your other posts and latest round notes, and, in particular putting woes, have you considered it might be the swing weight change from having the ball marker up on the top of your grip?

Reading stuff on other forums, there are a lot of arguments for ensuring the overall balance of the putter is maintained. Might be worth considering... ??

I have a world design patent in place through IP services Australia ...

....

I am just a plasterer an Ozzie tradie having a go

...

Putty, 100% good ya having a go. So, please accept this as constructive genuine helpful information...

IP Australia can NOT give you "worldwide" rights. Every country has its own IP system so you MUST register it in EVERY country, or at the very least the big markets like the US, UK, key European union countries and a dozen or so Asian countries.

I've search IP Australia and can not find any registration. Are you certain it's registered?

PS: did you patent a plastering system a few years ago?

Oh if only. No. Marker is 3gm only. My problems are much more profound. Poor stroke with too much face action. Don’t know how hard to hit it so no distance control. Utter lack of confidence. I don’t notice the swing weight change at all.
