I loved the dunes and thought every shot needed thought and execution. I can see why some of you are saying its blind shots etc but too me I think it was a thinkers course and you had to either be in the fairway or if not take your medicine and recover.

I had my fair share of blind shots but instead of going at the green I would lay up safely then try and land close for a simple par putt or bogey at worse.

I would have it as one of my favs (admittedly my course exposure is lacking a lot) and would happily play it again and again and again. Trying to work out how to squeeze it in next time I am down there.

I reckon your 38 points might have had some influence on your rating as well....

Interesting choice Chuck, pity you didn't play it when it was pure, before they revamped most of the course.

Wow....isn't it interesting the varying opinions on the  courses that everyone liked.      To me.....that spells that Madam and his team of organisers got it right for this event in the lead up and post National event.

Well done guys.   :-))

Glad at least someone got it.Yes it is tough to play GIR golf there. But seriously who among us but Itchy is capable?

What I'm talkin about is a game... A game that can't be won only played...

The right caddy would have helped. It was no coincidence Madam had a putt for eagle on the 7th after asking for the line off the tee.

The par 5s are short as off the whites. I couldn't get away off the tee though
