Ha.....   I reckon if I didn't have Goldy there, I might have "done an Iron Mick" and left after nine.       In the end it got comical and I had to brush it off as just one of those days.   I was so off early I was hooking everything.......and most know...that's not my game.

Yep Victoria and Kingswood are two off the top of the head.   Commonwealth is becoming another.    Hopefully Metropolitan is gentle with me, as I've decided to play my next matchplay event there in a couple of weeks.

Well had my first lesson in a while and when asked what I wanted from it my answer was possibly stupidly "a complete rebuild, take away everything I do and try and work towards something that will give me more consistency in my game and more length and power".
Hit 2 balls before he asked if we really wanted to do this.
Looks like it's going to be a very long process from where we ended up after one hour 😂

On the positive as bad as I got I could see where he was taking it and the positions felt proper but very uncomfortable and unbalanced.

Stab at Warra today (again).

Only one wipe, but also only 3 pars. Five 1-putts but also two 3-putts.

14 out, 17 back for a 31 point total and well down the pecking order.

Despite more promises of drowning rain from Jane, it was fine all day, just a little windy.

Rest day tomorrow, and probably also on Sat if the promises of diabolical weather eventuate.

First round in the swing rebuild against coaches advice but still managed to have fun.
Played Champions course at Sandhurst for the first time and really enjoyed it and was also pretty amazed at how well the course held up after Sunday's rain.
Ended up with 89/78 which I was not overly upset with.
Should have played the first 7 holes even but was playing with a few things and made silly mistakes.
Back 9 was extremely fun from a design aspect.
something like 6 doubles 5 pars and a bird and the rest bogeys.
Hopefully will get back out there to have a look at the North course soon.

Played at Shepparton in a Senior event and on day 1 I finished with 91 nett 81 with double, triple and quad bogies thrown in and 2 birdies somehow crept in my game.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I didn't really mind the walks but could see them being a bit annoying.

MM, stroke and count putts at Ranfurlie yesterday.   Playing off 11 and off the 10th for our first hole

Back 9 - 47 OTS with a 9 on the 18th after being a 9 iron out for my 3rd shot to the green.     20 putts

Front 9 - 45 OTS and 20 putts

92 net 81 and 40 putts. (6 x 3 putts)

Only saving grace was 2 birdies and won the raffle.

Very much some great golf and some really terrible shite.    Greens were very difficult as a lot of the holes were on slopes and I couldn't get the speeds.

Stab at Morwell with the Vets.

I kept pulling tee shots a bit left, then over correcting on the next hole. Finally started to hit them straight on the second nine.

Scrambled well put left approach shots short. Only five 1-putts and two 3-putts, one of which caused my only wipe.

33 points

I played with APC yesterday and he struggled at times but today there was no reason to play poorly and I just stuffed a few holes.
At least I was consistent on both days and a day off tomorrow and play Toc on Thursday and Friday and hopefully play better.
