Quick 14 holes with Toph and Hack at Parkwood- 230 tee off and played till dark.

Very sporadic swing on the day and had trouble putting on much slower greens that at Cooly last weekend,

Also note to self "dont do hard Pilates class on same day as golf!"

Good to meet the Hackster- a definite ISGer in the true sense!  I mean that in a nice way as well.

Old farts' nine hole this morning.

With a few good rounds with them in recent times, my handicap was down to 14.  That's too low, so today was a relaxed 'practice' round.

No wipes, no 3-putts, no 1-putts but five 1-points.  That's 13 points for the total and I'll be back to 15 for next time (that's only one no-shot hole).

Lo and behold, everyone else had a crap round as well with 17 points winning the day and my 13 was well up from the NAGA.  Course was good, weather was great, no excuses for anyone.

Down to Mirboo North tomorrow and storms are predicted.  I'm the VP of that lot and I think the Pres is still up north somewhere, so I'd better go.

18 at Carbrook Gc in a Manager day event. White tees

79 off stick. +8 Even par front. Two birds two bogs. Back nine 8over inc 2 doubles. 32pts playing off 4

Played solid front but swing fell apart on back. Short game was solid to save the day

Mirboo Nth for a Vets ambrose.
I played some good shots and some crap. Not enough pars, too many doubles.
We didn't win (or even come close).

The torture continues and sadly led to a tantrum which resulted in a broken 5 wood which was my favorite club.
Probably not even worth getting reshafted.
Clubs are getting removed from the car and retired for the foreseeable future.

Cheers mate.
Seem to get one of these stages every year for 6-12 weeks. It's the worst and there is seemingly no way to dig out of it and shooting 12-20 over cap whenever I play
I get the feeling that solo meaningless rounds where I just drop balls and hit bad shot after bad shot is probably not the smartest thing for me to do 🙄
