Were you being held hostage?

Yeah, only by myself through. Every time I come here I swear it will be fun next time I come back ๐Ÿ˜‚.
At least the food is good and the bunkers are decent.

Played in a Masters' day and played like Reed..........actually, make that Read, as in Chopper!!

Amassed a miserly 26 points, and funnily enough, didn't drive it too bad. No length to the drives, mostly in play, but everything went pear shape from there.

I'm blaming it on the early start, as I'm more attuned to gentleman's hours post lunchtime. :)

Stab at Yallourn today. Vets' Eastern Zone Challenge (basically all clubs east of Melb & south of the Great Divide as far as the border).

31 points, including a wipe, too many 1-points, not enough 1-putts or 3-points.

Day off tomorrow.

Day 1 and 2 at the National, day 1 on moonah and shot an easy 91 but did birdie 3 out of 4 par 3s. Today an easier 89 off the stick on the old course with 1 birdie.

Pennant match at Beacy today.
Some peanut decided we'd use holes 10 to 27. After adjustment of the match index to suit those holes, all the strokes I had to give were on par 3s except for 1. We both parred 3 of them so I had no hope on those, each bogeyed another and I couldn't get back on him on the others.
Went down 6/5. Didn't get lose more on the other two holes that I had to give shots because I'd already lost.

If we'd just used the Hills course, I would have given shots on 1 par3, 3 par4s and 3 par5s. Other team members had the same problem so we lost the contest.

Don't you hate that when your team have a home pennant game and the curator  trick up course by cutting hard pin placements or changing the 9's as you have done here, so it catches home team out. defeats any advantage of home game.

Its never nice to loose a pennant match but it hurts more if you loose at home.

I see you have Dorset at Beacy next week as well perhaps your captain needs to have a chat to curator given they def you 4.2 last time.

I doubt that I'm selected, having lost all matches this year. We can't make the final anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Just an oldies' 9 hole comp at Warra this morning.
Started with a 3-putt 1-point. Followed with a 1-putt par (no shot), a 1-putt birdie (par5) and a 1-putt par4 (index 1). Made an absolute mess of the next, starting with hitting behind the ball on the tee and finished with a 3-putt wipe.

Final result 19 points.

Third week in a row of golf with no clue.
Driver is everywhere. Irons and wedges are terrible I'm basically a child with a shovel that can't get out of a bunker but I can still putt.
9.5 should be 29.5 right now.

Redcliffe gc in an industry golf day. 9 over off stick but had a triple and a double. Played off 4 and had 34 pts

3 putts in 3ft Range missed (dont say anything Goldy) and one 8 iron skinny one over the green cost me a couple shots

Overall am very happy with driver, 3wd, and General wedge play

Playing vision red still and dialing in my distances quite well.
