Lady player, only around 120m. I think she used a hybrid.

One of our members had a HIO at Riversdale today.   Won the daily comp with 41 points playing off 18.

Stab at Warra today.

On Tues, nearly all drives were long (for me) and straight. 38 points.
The opposite today with few being long or straight. 28 points.
Only four 1-putts, one 3-putt. One wipe, six 1 points, no 3 points.

I seemed to have lost the plot. Playing with the galahs tomorrow.

Went down to Yarrabend after work for 9 holes. GIR on 7 was the only highlight. Fark tree lined courses.

First round of the Club Championships at Southern today.   (I'm not playing the 3rd round at Cranbourne as I'll be in NSW for the National event) So today was stroke off the back plates with a fair southerley wind initially.   Playing off 11 for the day and hit off the 10th and counting putts.

First 9 - 43 OTS with 19 putts

Second 9 - 47 with 18 putts

90 nett 79.   Still not great but there were some signs that things are getting back on track.

9 FIR

5 GIR

7 pars or better.

Putting let me down a bit but the greens are still a little rough after the coring.

Lost a flag and out to 9.0 GA

Yeah Weets, I wasn't too unhappy with that considering on how I've been playing of late.   Just a few too many  putts for my liking......which seems to be another part of my game that has dropped away.

Mine too
Generally it's at a higher level than it was but I have a brain fart or two most rounds that ruins it

Played with CB80 at Trafalgar today in a seniors' week 4BBB stab.

We teamed well today, with CB coming good for at least 2 points when I stuffed up.
My putter was on song today with 9 or 10 1-putts, some quite long.
We started on 6 and went round to 5, so our first nine was basically the back nine with 21 points. We followed that with 23 on the front for a 44 point total.
Nothing less than 2 points on any hole.

We lost the win on countback but scored $30 each for second place. CB also scored a longest drive.

The course was in good nick with few blemishes on the fairways but preferred lies anyway. Greens were very good (they were to me).

Good to hear that the course is holding up.    I must get back down there for a hit sometime.   I had a memory on my FB the other day....it's been just over 12 months since I was last there.

A-Grade 1/4 finals of my club championships on Sunday. 36 holes of Match-Play from the plates. Tightest match I've ever played. Decent golf too: he was 3-over off the stick after 18 holes and 1 down. Managed to get up and close it out 1-up on the 36th. Long day. Mentally draining
