This week?
Monday - travelled back home from Tocumwal.
Tuesday - booked to play but carts not allowed so I didn't.

Wed - after not playing on Tues, I went to Drouin. Very wet and soggy, carts shouldn't have been allowed. Sometimes the ball landing on the fairway would cause a very visible splash. Still, got around for 14 + 14 for 28 points. Greens were ok but my putting was mediocre.

Thur- played at Warra. Course was fine with barely any soft patches. Had a 3-putt but only about four 1-putts. 17 + 17 for 34.

Rest day today.

At the start of the week, I had six flags at the bottom of my 20. Now 4 there and 2 at the top. 'Cap out to 16.6.

Warra tomorrow, if it's not too wet.

Palm Meadows today. Again a total chop fest.
6 doubles 8 pars and a bunch of bogeys.
Poor off the tee today. 3 balls in the drink and a few 3 putts.
88 ots.
Stumped a few shots from 110-130 but couldn't make a putt outside 4 feet.
Fun track needs a lot of work but heaps of potential.

Did you take on the bamboo on 1?
How'd you go on 18?

5 iron 8 iron par on 1.
Drove left of the fairway bunkers over the cart path on 18 wedge over to 220 laid up and wedge to 18 feet for a 3 jab 7 to finish the day.
Tried to hit driver over the water from the absolute back which is decommisooned like a local pro told us to try and water balled that 232 water carry...

Down to Augusta today with Sth Gippy Vets.

The course was in great condition and dry everywhere.  As usual, the practice green was super slick but the actual greens were normal.  The difference was enough to get me to leave 3 or 4 puts just a tad short.

Shotgun start on 7, 5 points on those 3 holes then onto the back nine.  I was travelling alright until I got to 18 which I stuffed up after a more than adequate drive and wiped that.  16 points for that half.

Then onto the 1st.  Pull hook well into the scrub on the left (nothing would ever be found in there).  2nd shot to RH side of fairway, needed a fade around trees to get to the green but hit said trees and lost another ball. Then wiped the 2nd hole as well followed by 1 point on the 3rd.  So that was three wipes in a row and a one, with only 3 holes left to play.  Front half total was 11. Grand total 27.

Highlight was the three par3s.  On in 1, 2 putts, 3 points for each.  I even got to name a NTP but didn't keep it.

Southport today.
Very very bad golf.
85 ots hit maybe 2 fairways and 3 greens.
Fun track, would have been nice to play the course properly.

We played there yesterday- was in very nice condition and the greens were running

A nice course - barely need driver but it makes you work for it

Yeah we played with one of the pros from the shop and on the first green he's told us to forget the practice green speed. I had 15 feet for bird and 3 jabbed it after running it 8 feet past.
Course was in good shape but probably below the condition of most the courses we have played besides 2.
I stupidly slashed driver everywhere which is what killed me.

Metropolitan today and playing off 11 and should have been 27 , the only luck I had was bad . I cracked the neat 100 with 1 birdie but the hole before was a glorious 12 with 2 unplayable lies but that's another story.

Terrible advice - the course greens were at least as quick - and downhill very slippery

He told you that but didn't tell you to put the driver away for the shorter par 4s? What a dufus

Haha money game and he did advise not to hit driver on about 4 holes but when he hits 2 iron 15 past my driver on the same hole I figured that advice didn't apply.
He hit 3 par 5s in 2 and drove 10.
