From all new users as well

all free marketing, until it falls flat and makes them look very, very bad when the punters can see straight through it

Yeah, all of them....

But did you guys try their balls before?

When I was in China on the All-American Ping Pong team, I just loved playing ping-pong with my Flexolite ping pong paddle.

I had signed up to their trial a few weeks ago. I was more than happy with the ball I was given.

That's not my point, treating the buyers like mugs won't get them anywhere in the credibility stakes

I have personally made an assumption that the people who have joined up to solely talk about the ball aren't quite genuine.
If they are, then I am well and truly looking very foolish right now and definitely owe the company an apology for my behaviour.

The best way I see for a new company to promote is to be genuine. The buyers aren't stupid and will see straight through any shameless "independent" reports.
I am also not in marketing and I certainly won't profess to have the answers, but isulting the intelligence of the buyers won't sit well.

Today was 4bbb stableford on the captains course on a cold and windy day, my partner and I finished with 36 points with no wipes. Two birdies on holes where I did not get a shot helped with one a NTP on the 2nd hole par 3.

Down to Langy yesterday for a 2BBB Par.

I got to 4 down on the front but a couple of wins on 8 & 9 brought me back to 2 down.

Back half was worse with five minuses and no pluses. So, -7 for the day.

My partner (off 12) didn't do well on the front, but somewhat better on the back to finish at around -4.

Overall, we scored -2 which wasn't quite as embarrassing as individually.

FC in our group (a local) plays off 2 and hit his ball beautifully all day with barely a blemish. Glorious to watch, five birdies, finished with +2.

In the group behind was a weedy little kid, just turned 13, about the size of an 8 y.o., plays off 12 and came in square. Been playing golf for 2½ years.  Don't be jealous though.  He was a friend of Luke Batty and was there to witness the event. Has been severely traumatised ever since and golf is helping him get on with his life.
