A question Jon......is it possible to get the grooves to my old HG sand iron sharpened?
Posted 02 February 2016 - 03:44 PM
Can do Pete, probably while you wait.
I'll have a full restoration service for old irons and sets starting about the middle of the year too
Can't wait to start that phase and see the joy from customers having their old sets refurbished to new.
Jon...
So clubs like my MP32 set with wear marks on the faces can be refurbished?
PS ....... Who's this Pete guy?

They wiill either be 'U' grooves or 'V' grooves.
What model wedges is it?
It's my old 60 degree sand wedge from my HG's. I kept that club in the bag when I bought my Mizzies, as I love it out of bunkers. I've noticed of late that it's getting pretty smooth with all the "sand wear" and have been thinking the grooves being sharpened may give me some more control?

Tip: Stay out of bunkers.
Your welcome.
Generally....that's the plan. Some days I'm better at avoiding them than others.

I enjoyed our round at the Frog last weekend. All the bunkers were out of play. They make really good targets.

Id just like to say a quick public thanks to Jon from TGP (shameless plug) for both recommending and then building my new Srixon 765 irons as well as adjusting and gaping my wedges to match.
The guys that play in the Melbourne OOM series can tell you that they appear to work well: 1st competition - 1 win (overall stableford winner and best gross)
You might feel like your swing looks like an elegant swan floating on a calm lake with the sun glistening down and creating beautiful light reflections on the water,
But it more than likely looks like a drowning elephant.
