Was flicking through the channels last night and came across a doco done for the 30th anniversary of the release of Dark Side of the Moon, which of course has been remastered and reissued. Now its been years since I've listened to it, but it occurred to me that this is the Greatest Album ever made. 2,3&4 are all Beatles albums, and I'll leave the no5 pick up to you guys.

Open the floodgates, this is all subjective...hard to actually pick 1 to 10. In any order depending on the time of year etc...

Layla (Derek & the Dominoes)
Joan Armatrading (Joan Armatrading)
Dark side of the moon (Pink Floyd)
Fresh Cream (Cream)
LA Woman (Doors)
Transformer (Lou Reed)
Blood on the Tracks (Dylan)
Whos Next (Who)
Bob til you Drop (Ry Cooder)
Cheap Thrils (Big Brother and the Holding Co)

or

9th Symphony (Beethoven)
5th Symphony (Beethoven)
Four Seasons (Vivaldi)
The Planets (Holst)
most Mozart...

Beach Boys - Pet Sounds

If you haven't listened to it don't knock it. Most beautiful and heartfelt album out there. A masterpiece!

PINK FLOYD in general have albums that you can listen to time and time again, wish you were here, the wall, animals etc etc are just awesome albums. When I was at school me and a friend watched the wall (no drugs involved as I'm a square) every friday and saturday night for about 3 months and the only reason we stopped is because my tape broke hahaha...now I have it on DVD as well as 2 copies (one to watch and one for backup) on VHS.

My favourite album of all time??? That is tough as I have lots of picks but I would have to say Nirvana - Nevermind...came out when I was 17...every song word has burnt itself into my brain forever, only album to ever do this.

Love myself
Better than you
I know it's wrong
So what should I do?

I'm on a plain
I can't complain
I'm on a plain
