I'm happy to do some testing if any are available.

I'm a 105mph driver swinger but have always favoured softer version of premium balls ie Prov over Provx, Srixon ZStar over the XV.

The tour blue feel and performance with more spin with the short irons/wedges would be mint.

I've done a quick search and found this the following info on ball compression of the majorbrands that I've used.

Bridgestone b330s compression is around 100

The TM TPX is 87 and TP is 80

The lethal was 104, which is probably why it was my least favourite ball of the TM's

The Prov's are high 80 and the prov x is high 90's.

Going off this data I prefer golf balls in the 80's.

This is a pretty good chart for reference as well.

Good question:

Shorter with the player that has a swing-speed lets say 105+ mph driver which is many lower

single figure players. I'm looking at touching up the mantle and core to gain more ball speed

whilst maintaining a soft / solid forgiving overall feel.

The Blue core with a modified Red cover for the older player / softer swinger / younger / woman

is a really interesting design,,,, for players that are more likely to be interested in my ideas.

So I am chasing the sub 105 MPH driver swing-speed group ,,, they are getting max distance

within the rules of design with the PTX - Blue spec ,,, but here again I am looking at feel improvements

whilst maintaining ball speed.

I think I also touched on this in our previous discussions. Feel and driver performance on the blue is great, but just lacks grab on the green. Work your mojo, give me a blue that's a blue until it hits the green, then it's a red.

phhheewwwww, lot's of colours in that one. And happy to be part of the that trial when it happens.

So I've just become a Vision "test pilot." Better late than never and happy to be on board. Looking forward to provide my feedback for what it's worth. Much thanks to Boz. 👍

It looks like I may do a joint release with a PGA Licence holder ,,, that will come before the UVEE testing.

If you dont mind I will show some art ideas as the balls will mainly be for logo purposes ,,,,so much

cleaner again than the ProTour's,,,,,,

The guys that are interested from above and any others that are feedback capable can try some

if interested in helping out,,,, I am looking to create modified PTX Blue and PTV Green versions.

Thanks in advance,  ;)

Boz

Hey Boz,

I'm back at it again. Just retired ... for a while and playing at the Ridge (it eats golf balls). Would be interested in testing some balls. My stock of vision balls is low. Playing off high teens. Let me know how to order.

Played this ball yesterday for the first time. Windy round. It was as long as any other ball I've tried. Held its line nicely in the wind. Too early to comment about zip around the greens.

Wrap up from the ISG OOM Event at Moonah Links.
Weather conditions were gusting 25-40km/h winds and a mild 12c.
The Blue Vision Pro Tour was again a major reason for my podium finish.
Distance off the tee was consistent considering conditions. Sidespin on the drives cut right was negligible and in one instance kept me in play and left me 100m in on my 2nd on a 320m par 4.
Wedge play again was giving me confidence to pop the ball up high with minimal roll out. Some actually stuck and were less than a foot from the divot.
Once I got some feel for the greens putting gave me good feedback and the ball felt good off the club face.
Another good score and again cannot recommend this ball enough for the high end Handicap player.

Thanks Mick for the update and well done! We are currently rolling out in proshops in Northern NSW

as a market trial ,,,, very interesting support levels which are a combination of who we have helping

me being Perry Harpur - longtime leading Srixon sales rep and the quality and variation of what I am

presenting today ,,,

We are not trying to sell the ProTour's yet,,,,,,, the Pro's don't quite understand yet how far we have

come this past 18 months,,, so ProSoft is getting a really good run.

Hi Boz,

I'm finally back. Trying to remember how to play. I've had a few games while Loretta and I travelled around.  Good to be back on a course after being out since October last year. Once I get back into it I'll order some more balls.

Some guidance please... If I was to venture and use a Vision ball, what model?

Currently use, prefer ProV1 2017 over many others. Tried all Titleist, Srixon, Taylormade and Callaway.

Found softer type lacking in distance. Harder types didn't feel right around the green.

Even though I'm a Hack, I felt the 2015 vs 2017 ProV1 different, no liked 2015. Overall 2017 ProV1 gives me good distance off tee and feels great around the green. 2017 ProV1x feels a bit hot off the club face around the greens for me.

So, any suggestion to match in tge Vision range?

It's interesting what you are looking for in regards to feel,,,, cast urethane covered balls are a bit quieter

and also more rubbery in the cover ,,,, if you really like that which you do you need to keep playing Titleist

as their cover approach is the most expensive to reproduce but it also limits what I can do in regards to

brightness and durability,,,, this is why Titleist can mainly still charge you more to pay for all the ads because

of the feel you perceive is one of the key points of your choice,,, ball design is all about the compromises,,,

Titleist are happy that the covers will wear and change color to look darker as they need the balls to wear out

in order to keep sales moving ,,,, I am coming from a point of view that many players don't want to spend that

much on balls,,, but will pay a fair price for the better balls I design,,, that's ok by me.

I am chasing the other 95% of all players,,,,, I tend to cover nowadays the B330S / B330RXS / Zstar / Chromesoft

/ FG Tour / Volvik s3 / TP5S ,,,,,,, with what I am presenting but I don't have a ProV1 ball at this time.

Thanks for asking,

Boz
