I took a girl to see the Dirty Dancing Show at the glass house in Melb once. I only went hoping I would get my end in but ended up having a great time at the concert, the singing and show was great, she had such a great time but I still missed out! :cry: :cry: What's a boy to do! :cry:

hey gazgolf, do you remember what year you saw Cheap Trick at the Mansfield? I remember seing them there in the late eighties i think it was.

The bass player was trying to win onto this absolute pig at the bar .. and she told him to **** off!!! laugh.gif

I'll never forget that laugh.gif

METALLICA at NEWCASTLE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE 1998.
Was only 5 metres away. An awrsome band.

Would have like to be old enough to see Billy Idol in his Prime

i think diorama is an excellent album
it's a good change from their previous albums

while their previous albums were ace...freak show and frogstomp were absolutly amazing, i really loved diorama

i really want to see what they come out with next

yeah i think its a great album!

I bought the DVD about the making of the album and its awesome ... really like the mix of rock music with string arrangements smile.gif

Ry Cooder at the Perth Concert Hall
John Martyn at the Dallas Brooks in Melbourne

but the best was probably
Bob Marley at the Entertainment Centre in Perth

Ben Harper and the innocent criminals at the myer music bowl in melbourne with support from Jack Johnson was the best concert i am ever likely to see. Until ben comes back again that is.

Sorry jarro I only just saw this post.
It would have been 1988,that was the year they had that single "The Flame".
We were regulars there in the 80's.
