MM Caboolture GC, 51/54-20=85nett.....hot AF yesterday, walked instead of cart, started with a slight headache, end of round full blown one, flat out driving home.

No real consistency in the round, hit some good drives and managed only 1 par all day. Had about 4 three putts, 1 was from 6foot. Only bonus was the course is looking great after the rain and able to use the new irrigation system on some holes.

Thanks for reading

Two rounds this weekend (if you include on the golf simulator at Big Swing) as I'm in training for the Longest Day (72 holes in a day) in a few weeks.

Firestone (simulator) still can't chip or putt or apparently drive in the simulators - had 36 points though. Picked up a couple of things going on in my swing.

Went for a hit at Yarra Valley - every man and his dog was out on the course for the first nine. Started well before only managing 2 points through holes 6-9 for 15 points on the front, strangely coincided with when we had to wait before every shot. Field cleared out second time round so more consistent on the back nine for 18 points.

Wondering at the moment how I am going to manage to get around 4 x 18 holes in a day given that was my first 18 since July.

Sundays have been shocking there for the last month. I've just been watching the tee and the 9th from up on the range until i spot a good gap.
