With one notable loss to the Puerto Rican chick.

I'm tipping he'd have swapped all the other wins for that one.

I thought my atrophied left nut was enough.

MM stroke at Warra today (postponed from last week).
At a flying visit to see Jon yesterday, he gave me a few tips to help my ball striking, but it didn't help me one iota.

I started with a par (just short of a birdie), then the wheels fell off with a 7 on the 2nd and a 9 on the 8th (par 5). Two 1-putts and a 3-putt on the front, 2 putts on every hole on the back nine. I must have had at least 6 occasions of really, really short putts. 94 gross, 75 nett.

Maybe tomorrow will be better.

I'm not really sure Jon would have been keen for this all to be publicly broadcast, he's got his business and reputation to uphold.

Can't use the weather for an excuse as it was near perfect - sunny 21 degrees and virtually no wind.

For all of that, the course was not playing easy. Greens were good and rolling a slick 11.6 on the Stimp. But, chipping/pitching from muddy lies with barely any grass is nigh on impossible. Each winter we have to put with the same die back and over-watering which spoils the fun, and makes forced carries over bunkers a real adventure.

Never seen so many good players resorting to putting from off the green.

Anyway, there were no good scores in our group, and of course I brought up the rear with 25. Helped my on a few holes with three-pointers and we got the cash, so all good.

And, the weather is perfect again today, so off to do it all again in a couple of hours. :)

16 and 19 points at Windaroo

Some good play in the middle of the round but came home a bit rubbish with a wipe on 16, a 3 putt 2 pointer on 17 and a double for a point on 18

Will be a flag but not a good one but I’m dropping a 16.1 so may be similar

22 & 11 for 33pts at Windaroo. 40 off the stick on the front 9 and then what I can only put down to mental weakness I wiped 5 holes on the back 9. Disappointing to say the least.
