Hi people,

What are the most comfortable golf shoes? Adidas, Footjoy, Ecco, Callaway other? Please feel free to comment on what you use, make and model, and what you recommend?

The ones that fit your feet the best/most comfortably!

Having said that, I am very happy with my current Adidas shoes, 'Torsion 3-Stripe' or something; have found them more comfortable than my previous Niblicks, Reeboks and Footjoys, not a single blister etc from the off.

If you want to feel like you are wearing your slippers around the course without a drop of moisture getting to your feet in even the heaviest of rain, then get yourself a pair of Footjoy Dryjoys.

They are superb.

I have taken a funny approach..I wear cricket shoes where I took out the meatl spikes and screwed in plastic golf spikes... the shoe is ten times more comfy than golf shoes...they are asics cricket shoes...cost is about 130 but they are beautys

stability wise they are great also...as they desinged for fast bowling so they really grip well and are stable

I have footjoys and I believe they are called 'e-comfort'? I like them a lot.

I didn't spend to much time looking into shoes.

Anybody have the latest premium Nike shoe? What is that like?

I love my Footjoys - won't buy any other brand in future.

Cheers, Peter.

For me, it's Ecco but that's mainly beacuse I have narrow feet and most yank stuff is designed for big fat American feet. European designed shoes tend to be narrower. I've never met an Ecco or Footjoy wearer that is unhappy with their shoes but I've met plenty of people with other brands that have had problems so I'd look at Ecco and Footjoy and buy what fits best and looks best from those two brands.

You just have to go into the shop and try yourself. I bought myself a pair of Niblick for $40 in Golfworks because they are the last pair and they come wth different sizes (one shoe is 8 and the other is 8 1/2, got no idea how tht happened huh.gif ). They are the most comfy golf shoes I ever had! Maybe my feet have different sizes as wel...

Asics do a range of golf shoes, but I have never been able to find them in the shops.

I had a pair of Asics Albatross' - they were by far the best shoes I have ever had, and I'm on about my 5th or 6th pair.

I also have something of an Asics preference though - on my 6th pair of Asics runners, 4th pair of boots, and had them as my old cricket shoes...

If someone knows where Asics golf shoes are stocked, can you post it here?

Adidas Torsion 3 stripes, very comfy for my extra wide feet. Found many brands don't cater for very wide feet esp. Nike
