After each hole, the player in the pair shooting the worst score, takes a revolver and has a game of Russian Roulette ... laugh.gif

Sure it wasn't rushing stableford pairs, maybe they're trying to get you round under 3 hours.

I think it was invented by Boris Yeltsen - you just stay in the clubhouse all day and get on the piss big time (vodka probably)

multiplier stableford. you and your partner multiply your stableford points, eg 2 x 3 or worse 4 x 0

played one a few months ago, scored about 15 points. winner had about 85

African Stableford is correct. Unlike other events, pairs are better to stuff up on the same hole.

Cheers for that...

The answer and the funnies as well. The thought of a round of golf based around shots of vodka each time you lose a hole had crossed my mind...

Weird that there's two names for this version of stableford.

Thanks again

We call that Multiplier Stableford...

We play Singapore Stableford on Grand Final Day, the whole field plays stableford off scratch and you add your handicap once the round is over. Makes for a quick day!
