What is your favourite Tony Cashmore course (and your least

I think 13th Beach (Beach Course) is Tony’s best work. A terrific blend of flatter and coastal dunes holes with some interesting greens and some lovely bunkering.

My least favourite Tony Cashmore course would have to be Kingswood (the front nine only though). Not very good quality holes and they don’t blend in very well at all with an otherwise pretty decent course.

What are yours?

Didn’t Cashmore only fix-up afew holes at Kingswood, not build the entire course ?

Yes he sure did only “fix-up” a few holes on the front nine. Still his work though. Woeful stuff too.

Did he do the Dunes ?

13th Beach (Beach Course) would be mine. I’ve onlu played it once but loved it and it’s far superior to the Creek Course.

The work done at Amstel was pretty average, the 11th and 12th holes are a bit of a stuff up.

At least he hasn’t done anything as bad as Bob Shearer’s effort at #12 Southern

This is a thread devoted to Tony’s courses, good and bad.
Don’t start with the Sthn/12th green problems, post your own bad hole thread.

Any truth to the rumour doing the rounds that said Cashmore was in negotiations with Royal Melbourne?

The fake Firey was just keeping the seat warm for me.

Fyiripu / Fyirippu,

He’s not touching my course! That’s a fact.

I was defending the poor Cashmore chap!

The Cashmeister will fix the ol’ girl up. Then, and only then, it will be as good as Southern.

Can I quote the chopper?

Hmmm

Interesting developments – not sure if that constitutes a shot across the bows or not?

Beware of cheap imitations - Especially from the US

Hmmmmm…2 Firey’s

..and who the fcuk is Dennis?

We all know who the real Firey is. He is the one who lauds Southern at every opportunity.

The fake Firey was just keeping the seat warm for me.
