OK all - after 4 pages of posts mucking around - let's get down to it! Trung has asked me to give him a hand with the organisation.

The date is set - no deviations. Plus, by then the "coring" season should be well and truly over.

Trung suggested Glenmore because it was quite easy to get a block booking for a number of players for the competition. This will be difficult at any metropolitan courses. Also, the cost is quite reasonable - the more affordable the day, the better turn out we'll get. Plus, we are getting together not only to play golf, but to meet our fellow ISGers, so the track (I don't think) should be too much of a factor.

I propose that we stick with Glenmore and try and get bebox to organise an annual day at either Riverside Oaks or Camden Lakeside fully sponsored and advertised by ISG. That way, we can have one expensive get together a year, and then a number of more budget-friendly games in the mean time.

I'm kiddin... I have a bux night on the 27th Sept. However, I will be there. Will try for later tee time. Around 10am.. Should have plenty of time to chill off the acohol by then.

Unfortunately the 28th is no good for me. If things go well over the next 5 Sundays I'll be unavailable due to making the final of our Captains Cup (round 1 this Sunday) but even if I'm not there then I'll be in Cootamundra for a family do.

Great stuff guys...we will provide some prizes for the day too. We are looking at an official day in Sydney in late October and have someone organising it as we speak...will know more soon.
