The ISG Vase IV

Sunday, March 4th

Lang Lang Golf Club

(Sth Gippsland Hwy, Lang Lang)

We're off to Willow's place!

A regional taste of the sand belt, Lang Lang will host ISG Vase IV. Reports of Lang Lang's demise were of course premature in the extreme, and players will be greeted by a good course better groomed and grass covered than most in this drought.

Assemble at 10.00am for 10.30am hit off.
Prizes are included and are currently being arranged (I might call on some of you begging).

Could all those wishing to play please PM me. Player list to be published on here as soon as it is finalised.

Only ISG users who dialogue on the forums please.
Please no iron clad demands for specific groupings.

Green fees are $25. No carts are available on the day (booked out prior).

No payments are required in advance, but anyone cancelling will need to pay me so I'm not out of pocket on the day if the club requires the money.

Great choice of venue.

I encourage anyone that hasn't played LL to head out for this day as it really is a quality layout, and an excellent test of your game.

I'll be doing my best to be available for it.

Ahhh, Lang Lang.

Scene of my worst ever round of golf. Absolute carnage.
Look forward to making amends. Count me in TT.

Count me in TT.

Given we haven't had you at one of these yet, I'll count that as your PM. (All others please PM your replies).

5 spots down already. And hoping for more than 20-25 this time!

Hmmmmm.

I may have to put in an application for a leave pass.

Pulling the Tithers golfing pants well and truly down does not necessarily constitute a good "history". It may have simply been a freak event.

Tithers,
Where will breakfast be?
Not much between Stud Rd freeway entrance and Lang Lang, except Cranny & Tooradin.

I will have to remain a Vase virgin as the arrival of Jnr N & G is expected on the 7th... looking to pop my Vase cherry later in 2007.

Enjoy the day.

If there's not much in the cupboard, I can lob at your place I guess smile.gif

If the big guy (Daacha) is down, he'll be staying over, so I'm sure a Saturday night feast can fortify us enough to get away with merely a top up on Sunday morning. If he does come, then a few of us should do Saturday night dinner with a couple of bottles from the cellar.

If I get a leave pass I may even kick off the day with a leisurely brekky at Chit Chats in Berwick.

Count me in...

How about a Bacon, Egg, Sausages BBQ brekky (with a side serve of cholesterol) when we get there??

If we all wanna pitch in a few extra $$ we can arrange it...

The course is pretty good at the moment too...

It takes 30 minutes from Cranbourne to help you all work out what time to leave.

What a reaction...

It must have been the magic word "cholesterol"

I can't work out which one was the magic word that most transfixed me.

Its out of "Bacon", "Egg," "Sausages", "BBQ", "brekky", "side serve" or "cholesterol".

I'll be holidaying on the NSW South Coast that weekend. Pity, looks like a nice rough for me to spend the day in.

Any grudgematches on the agenda?
