Stinky .. One of the things we plan to do with Frank is to slightly tweak his mindset in the lead-up to this OOM. Like a lot of people, Frank has in the past, got caught into the trap of thinking of handicaps, and on what holes he has a shot on etc …..... and this has led to him and a lot of others, to counting on, and relying on these so called extra shots. With that mindest, is it any wonder that Frank, and others, get complacent, and indeed accept going well and above par on any given day? Not so this time out. Frank is certainly good enough to make par on any golf hole (as are a lot of guys in the field). The difference this time out, is that Frank is going to believe he can and will make par on each of them. Personal par for Frank this time out is exactly that …..... PAR (or better). We expect to see Frank in position off every tee, be it a long shot or a shorter more controlled one. Frank is a “fairway finder” of note …. no one would dispute that His next task is also within his capabilities .... get it on the green. Frank has the game with his irons and wedges to do just that, and do it consistently well …. and with his practice regime of hitting off all manner of lies, it will hold him in good stead.. From there, his practice on Beacy’s one slope greens (the same type as The Berg) will kick in, and we will see putts drop on the day. Frank has a good putting game, he gets them close consistently, and more than a few have been known to drop. With all the above … Frank has the game to get par (or better) on any hole that he sets foot on. We all know it …... and by the time he tees off at The Berg …... Frank will know it too. This is his time Stinky, make no mistake.

I’d go so far as to say that he has been robbed on ocassion Barnesy …....... Frank has a burgeoning wardrobe filled with “Bridesmaid’s dresses” ..... but not this time. It’s Franks turn to walk down the aisle …... and to throw the bouquet to the also rans.

One of Frank’s major issues (perhaps the most important) is the beigeness of the aforementioned Bridesmaids dresses. I am willing to fill the role of Stylist for Frank, as long as he is willing to comply absolutely to my direction. One only needs only to look at the results from SL to see the well dressed, or at least attempted well dressed are more likely to gain good results in the 2013 OOM season.

I was actually just pondering who is best credentialled to get Frank out of his beige wardrobe, and as you have quite rightly pointed out ….... when Frank dresses in beige, he plays in beige fashion. Consider yourself appointed, and duly annointed, as Frank’s Fashion Guru for Heidelberg. We can’t wait to see your swatches ….......

Good on you Micky. Prior to the day’s event, the field shall be posted out ….. a set of “guidelines” to follow …..... in relation to Frank, and his presence in the designated pre-game practice areas. Perhaps in your case, we can tweak it a touch to allow for the aforementioned “Oh, ello Pete”. It’s always good to have your support Micky, and in particular for what is going to be a memorable day for all of us on Team Frank.

Leading the Team, it’s Captain, Spiritual leader of the ISG Lefties, generously proportioned partner of Dr Sue, and (robbed) ISG National Champion, the one, the only… FRANK !!!!!!(wait 5 minutes for the applause to die down) Team Vice Captain….Coach and Personal Advisor to Frank, the man who puts the LOUD into loudmouths, right or left handed….it’s your guess on the day….give it up for…. Nice one Godly ….......... but don’t sell yourself short, buddy. As Chief Mascot, we should also label you as Chief Motivator, or Director of Entertainment on the day I believe. You tend to have a calming influence on Frank whenever you two tee it up together, and put him into a relaxed, almost, dare I say it ….”Zen like state” ......... where he can function at his sublime best. Having you in the group will no doubt add that bit of light hearted banter, and keep our man Frank in a happy and positive frame of mind going around The Berg. Indeed, I think its a perfect grouping you have got together, from which, Frank can make his assault on the summit .... with or without the aid of oxygen. With two fellow lefties in the group we’ll combine to provide a couple of examples off every tee of where he should (or shouldn’t) be heading … in order to help him with his bearings before Frank himself launches one.
